DocuSAFE is a tool designed to assist survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, online harassment, and dating violence in documenting various forms of abuse. Through this app, individuals can record detailed incidents, including photos, screenshots, or videos capturing threatening messages, social media harassment, unwanted calls, and online impersonation.

By consolidating evidence of abuse in a centralized platform, survivors can better recognize the extent, frequency, and potential escalation of abusive behaviors they are facing. While not all survivors may pursue legal action against their abusers, for those who do, DocuSAFE enables the documentation and secure storage of evidence that can be shared with law enforcement or presented in court. To enhance security and privacy, the app requires a personal identification number (PIN) to set up and access its contents.

Developed by the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) and funded by the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), this app serves as a valuable resource for survivors seeking to document and address abusive situations.
